Dr. Kristin Clarkson has extensive experience providing rehabilitation services for patients across their lifespan. She maintains an active practice as a nurse practitioner in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Dr. Clarkson’s clinical expertise includes acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac rehabilitation, transplantation, birth injury, musculoskeletal injury, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and acute rehabilitation consultation. She has presented at numerous conferences and continues to mentor undergraduate and graduate students within an academic appointment.

Dr. Clarkson obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh. She is certified as a Nurse Life Care Planner through the Universal Life Care Planner Certification Board. She maintains an active membership through the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
